With the show having just barely released its second episode, American Gods is already getting renewed for a second season.

The Stars TV adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s 2001 novel of the same name is expected to hit the air sometime in mid 2018, according to Deadline. The episode count hasn’t yet been revealed but it’s expected to have at least as many episodes as the first season.

As of the moment, the show is gaining crazy popularity with as many as 975,000 viewers tuning in for the season premiere on 30 April. American Gods  stars Ricky Whittle as Shadow Moon, Emily Browning as Laura Moon, Crispin Glover as Mr. World, Bruce Langley as Technical Boy, Yetide Badaki as Bilquis, Pablo Schreiber as Mad Sweeney and Ian McShane as Mr. Wednesday.
