The third entry in the Code Geass franchise has finally dropped a trailer, after being announced sometime last year.

Set several years after the second season of the show, it pretty much sits in the aftermath of Lelouch vi Britannia’s “Zero Requiem” plan. There aren’t much in the way of other details though they’re probably intentionally keeping things under wraps.

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection is also being directed by Goro Taniguchi, who was also spearheading Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion and Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2.

No official date has been dropped for the new Code Geass, but we’ll be keeping our ear to the ground.
