Guillermo del Toro is busy prepping up for Pacific Rim 2, but he gave an enthusiastic idea for the third movie if it ever comes out.
During a conversation with Movie Pilot, the director said that he wants to include Godzilla into the royal rumble in Pacific Rim 3:
“So far with the sequel, what we’re writing, what we’re creating, is very different, so there are no plans. Hypothetically, I would love the fuck out of it. I would love to see a Jaeger and Godzilla duke it out. That would be too much for the human brain.”
No question such clash will have fans jumping for joy with their fisst in the air. It is not impossible considering Legendary Pictures has licensing rights for both franchises, why not include King Kong into the mix too! It is too much of an awesome sauce!
So who will win this titanic struggle? The King of Monsters or humanity’s last hope, the Jaegers?!
