Golden Screen Cinemas revealed earlier this week that they’ll be bringing Project Itoh’s Genocidal Organ to Malaysia next week!

Genocidal Organ originally opened on 3 February in Japan, and will officially open 20 April locally. The movie was originally produced by studio Manglobe (RIP) before new anime company Geno Studio picked up the film.

Genocidal Organ was already planned as an anime film adaptation as part of a trilogy adapting Project Itoh novels, including Empire of Corpses and Harmony. However, studio Manglobe, the guys originally handling it went under last September.

The Genocidal Organ novel was released in English in 2012, with the story following American Intelligence agent Clavis Shepard as he tracks down terrorist John Paul in a future wrought with chaos and violence.
