New Legendaries/Guardians
No, we’re not just talking about Solgaleo and Lunala. Each of the Alola region’s four island has its own “Tapu” guardian, each with their own particular design and type.
Tapu Koko (Electric/Fairy)
Tapu Bulu (Grass/Fairy)
Tapu Lele (Psychic/Fairy)
Tapu Fini (Water/Fairy)
They all share the same Z-Move though, and their bodies form the head of a massive body summoned transformers style.
There’s also this strange man-made Pokemon called Magearna, which was crafted by humans 500 years ago. It’s set to appear in the next Pokemon movie so we’re expecting it to show up in Sun and Moon as well.
Ultra Beasts
As if there wern’t enough super-powered beasties wandering the Alola region, there’s the Ultra Beasts. So far we know there are five of them.
For the most part they look like sea-creatures or bugs, but generally speaking they’re decidedly alien looking. UB-02 (the red one) particularly makes me think of a Terraformar.
They’re also apparently very dangerous, being threats to both humans and Pokemon alike, but we’re guessing you’ll be able to capture them. You can view the last two Ultra Beasts in the video below!
