The latest promotional art for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is here and it looks interesting.
The photos appeared on Heroic Hollywood’s Instagram and it smacks of propaganda posters that has been defaced with graffiti. After all, the imagery seems to complement the official synopsis of the movie revealed at Licensing Expo 2015 in Las Vegas:
“Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.”
It would seem to hint that these superheroes are at war with each other, bolstered by appearances of these poster campaign. The messages are chock full of smear and accusations, trying to make it political between these two characters. The movie basically features Henry Cavill as Men of Steel/Superman going head to head against Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne/Batman while Gal Gadot will debut as Wonder Woman. Jesse Eisenberg stars as the bad guy Lex Luthor while Aquaman (Jason Momoa) is rumoured to be surfacing too.
The movie hit the theaters on 25 March 2016.
