NoDrinkChallenge McD

Love spicy food? Love free stuff? McDonald’s has a new challenge that’ll let you have both. In conjunction with the launch of their Double Spicy Chicken McDeluxe, McDonald’s is challenging all spicy food lovers to have a go at it without having a drink!

Called the #NoDrinkChallenge, it requires participants to down a whole Double Spicy Chicken McDeluxe, without having any drinks in between. Sounds simple right? The catch is, it’s called the DOUBLE SPICY Chicken McDeluxe for a reason, as it’s supposedly deemed McDonald’s spiciest burger ever. If you manage to beat the challenge, you’ll get the next Double Spicy Chicken McDeluxe, FREE!

The contest will run from 26 October to 22 November and it’s open to people aged 21 and above. We guess McDonald’s Malaysia has also figured that Malaysian’s are a pretty tough bunch when it comes to spicy food. That’s why only the first 1,000 people who finish the challenge will be able to win the free burger, which will be given in the form of an RM15 voucher.

So how EXACTLY, should you take part? Pretty easy actually. First you have to purchase a Double Spicy McDeluxe burger. Then you’ll have Facebook live yourself eating the burger. And if you managed to finish the entire thing without drinking or slurping any liquids in between, you can then submit your entry to McDonald’s #NoDrinkChallenge page HERE.

Voila, all done. Do take note though, you won’t get the voucher immediately as the voucher will only be mailed to you 14 days after the contest ends. Of course, we figured that many of you won’t exactly be doing it for the free burger and instead will be doing it just to show off how macho you guys are. The free burger? That’s just the bonus.
