The official Splatoon manga is getting it’s English release later this year, as confirmed by publisher Viz Media.

Running since 2015 in Japan’s Corocoro Comic magazine, the story (based on the original title on the Wii U of the same name) focuses on four Inklings caught up in the Splatoon Turf War. I personally haven’t read the manga, but the artist, Hinodeya Sankichi, says that the manga has “all-new adventures inspired by the hit Nintendo video game”.

No word yet on the format of the manga, pricing and release date, but they did show off some over art though:

Splatoon 2 will be out on the Nintendo Switch come 21 July.
