2. Haikyuu!!: Karasuno Koukou VS Shiratorizawa Gakuen Koukou
Haikyuu!! follows Junior high school student Shōyō Hinata who gains a sudden love of volleyball after seeing a national championship match on TV. He creates a volleyball club and begins practising by himself, and even manages to get enough people to join him in the middle school tournament.
However, they are defeated in their first tournament game after being challenged by the championship favourite team, which includes the so-called “King of the Court” Tobio Kageyama, in the first round. When Hinata enters Karasuno Highschool, he joins their volleyball club but ends up being teammates with the very person he vows to surpass.
This awesome volleyball anime is a must watch if you’re a fan of sports or volleyball (we even listed it in our top sports anime to watch).
The third season of Haikyuu!! follows Karasuno’s defeat of Aoba High in the semifinals and their upcoming battle against Shiratorizawa High. Will they prevail and go on to the nationals? Just wait till the season starts to find out… or just read the manga from Chapter 149 onwards.
