Netflix‘s Sense8 is making a comeback, but not as a complete series revival.

Series co-creator Lana Wachowski announced that the show will be revived for a two-part special, since getting the axe after it’s second season.

To refresh your memory, Sense8 was released in 2015, and focused on eight strangers from around the world who are suddenly mentally and emotionally linked and must find a way to survive as they are now hunted by people who see them as a threat to the world’s order.

The two-parter is set to be released sometime next year, and Wachowski hopes that this isn’t the end of the series.
