Spyro’s back with a new show on Netflix called Skylanders Academy, based on their Skylanders video game and toy hybrid of the same name.
The show follows key characters like Spyro (Justin Long), Stealth Elf (Ashley Tisdale), Eruptor (Jonathan Banks) and Glumshanks (Norm MacDonald) as they travel through the Skylanders universe, teaching new cadets to defend their world against those who threaten it.
The 26-episode series was originally announced in June, and is also Activision Blizzard Studio’s first release. The studio basically will be creating television series and films based on characters and stories from the company’s own game IPs, so expect similar animated series to crop up in the future.
The show will run for two seasons, and will drop 28 October 2016.
