A new, English subbed trailer is out for the live-action Fullmetal Alchemist movie, and it premiers Misia’s theme song “Kimi no Soba ni Iru yo” (I’m By Your Side).

The movie is set to premiere during the Tokyo International Film Festival on 25 October, after which it will officially open in Japan on 1 December. Those lucky enough to be attending Anime NYC will get to watch it as the closing film on 19 November, and director Fumihiko Sori will be in attendance for the screening.

The cast for Full Metal Alchemist includes Ryosuke Yamada (member of boy band Hey! Say! JUMP) as protagonist Edward Elric, Tsubasa Honda (Kishūteneki Terminal) as sidekick Winry Rockbell, and Dean Fujioka (The Pinkertons) as Elric’s superior officer, Colonel Roy Mustang.

Other actors confirmed for the film are Natsuna Watanabe as Maria Ross, Jun Kunimura as Doctor Marco, Kanata Hongou as Envy, and Kenjiro Ishimaru as Father Cornello.
