What the heck, did DAP just rip off Pokemon Go for their own ad?!

That’s right, DAP (or the Democratic Action Party if you’re not familiar with it) released their very own political ad that pretty much just an edited version of the Legendary trailer that’s  been superimposed with a whole bunch of images and their own party mascot.

While I agree it’s pretty creative, and it’s not (particularly) horribly made, it’s pretty much ripping off Nintendo/Niantic’s own assets for the game and that’s a pretty big no-no in the copyright department. But it’s not as if other people haven’t done the same, with Donald Trump’s presidential campaign also involving the game somewhat.

We suppose they’ll be getting a call from Nintendo or Niantic pretty soon. But still, it’s pretty funny to watch. Catch it quick before it goes away!
