Aziz M.Osman, the famous local director and producer is set to make the sequel of XX-Ray, XX-Ray III after disappearing from the scene for over three years.
According to him, it took 20 years to film the sequel since the last movie is shown at cinemas around 1995. The first movie, XX-Ray was made in 1992. He said, “Actually after XXRay II, I was asked to film the next sequel immediately. However, I don’t want to rush it because it takes a lot of detailing to give the movie the best touch possible, “ he continues, “As a director, I want to make sure that the plot and story line is fresh and not out of date.”
He insists that despite the use of CGI for the movie, he wants to make sure that the storyline of XX-Ray III is rock solid. At the same time, the 53 year old director is hiring new talents because he felt that they are more committed and easy to be directed. He also adds that he is reluctant to work with divas because he is worried that it will hold up production, on top of the excessively high salary demand from them.
As for now, he is yet to decide on who is to star in the latest movie because it is still in pre-production stages.
