Gundam.info has released the second promotional video (PV) for the second season of Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans season 2. In it, it has also been revealed the release date the new season of the anime, which is on October 2 this year.
That isn’t the only thing that has been revealed. The site has also released a new visual for the anime as well as character visuals and descriptions. Of major interest for Gundam fans out there will be the upgraded form of the Gundam Barbatos, now called the Gundam Barbatos Lupus.
Gundam fans will also be happy to note that the anime series will also continue debut on the Gundam Info youtube channel on the premiere date, on top of the 26 other channels it’ll be on.
We assume that like the first season, the second season of Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans will also be 25-episodes. This season will be helmed by Tatsuyuki Nagai, with series composition being handled by Mari Okada . Yu Ito (Shut Hell,a Imperial Guards) will handle original character designs, while Michinori Chiba (Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Mobile Suit Gundam AGE) is in charge of the characters for animation. As for mecha design, Naohiro Washio, Kanetake Ebikawa, Ippei Gyōbu, Kenji Teraoka, and Tamotsu Shinohara are in charge of that. As for of art design and music composition, they will be handled by Kusanagi and Masaru Yokoyama respectively.
