3. A photography area

If anything, this was probably our favourite area of the entire convention. In past CFs one of the biggest issues when it came to traffic flow was photographers blocking the way or setting up their mini studios in areas that could disrupt the flow of traffic. So this year’s inclusion of a dedicated area for photographers to set up shop was absolutely brilliant.

Granted, it wasn’t perfect. The place was still a bit messy with all the cosplayers and their assorted props and equipment, but it was also part of the reason we loved it (Ok so a little bit more tidying up would have been nice). The photography space also provided cosplayers a place to chill while they waited for their shoots and generally acted as an easily accessible place to hang out without having to brave the madness of the main hall.

They even had backdrops set up for photographers to use, with themed booths by Cupcat Studios for shoots. This addition by CF we feel should be a staple feature for any convention especially if space allows it.
