2. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales
Do I expect this movie to be good? Not really. Do I think it’s going to make a truckload of cash? Yes. While this franchise’s box office value has been on a decline in the United States, the same can’t be said about it, internationally. While Pirates of the Carribean: Curse of the Black Pearl grossed over 600 Mil USD worldwide, the second and fourth movie grossed more than one billion USD, with the third film just slightly short.
Despite what many might say about the franchise’s severe drop in quality after the first film, there is no denying the international box office appeal of Johnny Depp and his outlandish, over the top, starting-to-get-very-annoying performance as Captain Jack Sparrow.
