Random Jedi (Star Wars)
The staple for Star Wars fans everywhere, any geek should dress up as a Jedi (or Sith) at least once in their lives. This one is a bit more complex than the previous ones but you should still be able to whip it up with the stuff out of your closet.
Here’s what you need:
- A Long sleeved T-shirt
- Black belt
- Long pants
- Boots (calf high ones are better)
- Plain cloth (colour of your choice)
- Long cloth robe or cardigan (something like this)
- Extra: Safety pins, Lightsaber!
The video tutorial below would give you the gist of what you would need to do to make it look believable. Just remember that you can get creative with the garments you use because Jedis and Sith alike come in all shapes, sizes and designs, you don’t HAVE to have a robe just to make it believable. Just go with what makes you feel comfortable! Colours are totally up to you as well.

Alternatively, you can totally skip the outer robe and just use your plain cloth and wrap it around into a tabard, and tie the middle with a sash using the same material. The image below should give you a rough idea on how it works, no sewing required if you’re in a pinch. Just use safety pins.
