A Sim (The Sims)
This is the ultimate in lazy costumes, and requires the least amount of work. Your costume choice is only limited to your imaginations. That’s because the Sims pretty much wear the same things we do. Just remember to only talk in “Simlish” while conversing to others for added effect, preferably other people in Sims costumes.
Materials:
- Coloured paper (12 x 12, colour can be green, red, orange or silver)
- Wire
- Glue or tape
- A Hairband
You simply need to fold your coloured paper till it acquires its signature diamond shape, tape it all together and stick a wire in it to suspend it over your head. Then you only need to tape a piece of wire in it and attach said wire to your headband. Attach to head, don your clothing of choice and you’re good to go.

So that’s our take on really simple, last-minute costumes you can make for Halloween. Mind you, it’s not just for Halloween as this costumes can be made for any costume party occasion. Of course last-minute stuff will always work in a pinch, but if you really want the full Halloween experience, just start working on one early. Might be actually more fun.
