6. Harley Quinn
Wait, isn’t Harley Quinn a Batman rogue as well? Well, in the DC New 52, she’s managed to come out of the shadow of Gotham and make a name for herself. Besides having her own hit solo series, which apparently is one of DC’s biggest selling titles right now, she’s also become a core member of the Suicide Squad, AND will be appearing in the Suicide Squad movie in 2016, played by Margot Robbie.
And then there’s that blink and you’ll miss it cameo on Arrow, where John Diggle and Amanda Waller discuss the Suicide Squad, a familiar voice pipes up from the background: “”Do you cuties need some counselling? I’m a trained therapist!”, voiced by none other than Tara Strong herself, the same voice actress who voiced Harley in the Batman: Arkham video game series.
With DC’s 2015 main event Convergence involving characters from their 52 multiverses, this year might just be the big one for DC. Who knows, it might build enough hype to make 2016’s Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice a success and kickstart their DC Cinematic Universe…
