4. TV victories
There’s some crossover love here for The Flash and ArrowWe mentioned this could go any way in the Marvel article, but really, after watching the way The Flash, Arrow, Constantine, and Gotham have been going so far, it’s quite clear that DC is winning the TV race.
Agents of SHIELD may have upped their game in their second season, introducing more known Marvel names as well as the Kree and Inhumans; but DC’s new shows, particularly The Flash, have hit the ground running (pardon the pun) and have been making SHIELD seem plodding and ponderous in comparison.
Their TV and movie universes may not be connected, but in terms of branding, DC’s small screen route is certainly working in more ways than one; and it’s really helping them build up the hype for their characters leading up to the movies. It also helps that both The Flash and Arrow aun in the same universe, and with the recent unveiling of the TV versions of DC Heroes Firestorm and The Atom in both shows, there’s even more to be excited about.
