5. Marvel fatigue
Marvel haven’t been resting on their laurels either, having just announced their own slate of movies all the way to 2020. But whether they will be able to sustain the hype for Marvel movies until then is debatable. While Avengers: Age Of Ultron is almost guaranteed to be a hit, Ant Man could be the studio’s first stumbling block (then again, they said that about Guardians of the Galaxy too, look what happened there).
Who knows, audiences might just be all Marvel-ed out and be ready for something different for their superhero fix. If that happens, Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice will be ready to pounce; and if it and Suicide Squad proves to be a hit in 2016, Marvel is going to have a serious fight on their hands.
