6. He’s Batman
Batman and his Bat-family account for almost one thirds of the DC’s New 52 comics output, all the past Batman movies have made money (yes, even the much-maligned Batman And Robin), the Gotham TV series is a hit, and Suicide Squad has not one, but THREE regular Batman rogues, including his arch nemesis, The Joker.
All this points to the conclusion that audiences would lap up anything Batman related, even if it comes with rubber nipples.
Besides, admit it, we may think Iron Man and the Avengers are cool and all, but deep down, everyone wants to BE Batman.
One thing is for sure though; comic book fans and movie lovers are now spoilt for choice when it comes to superhero movies. At the end of the day, it doesn’t really matter if it’s DC or Marvel – as long as the movies are great, the real winners will be the fans.
