It’s recently been announced that Marvel’s Doctor Strange will be getting its own one-shot prequel manga.
The announcement came in the 52nd issue of Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine, with the manga to be produced by Haruichi, their debut work.
It serves as a direct prequel to Marvel’s Doctor Strange live-action movie, which has already begun showing locally.
As the story goes, this takes place before the accident where Stephen Strange injures his hands, while he was still an arrogant genius surgeon. The story follows his troubles with his coworkers and patients. It should be an interesting insight into his character before he took the plunge into his new existence.
On top of this, a Doctor Strange manga series will debut on DeNA’s free Manga Box app come 30 November. Don’t forget to catch our review!
