A new trailer has landed for Jeff Nichol’s sci-fi chase story and it shows that there’s much more to the movie than just running away from stuff. Check it out here.
Midnight Special is directed by Jeff Nichols and tells the tale of a father (Michael Shannon) who’s on the run to protect his son Alton (Jaeden Lieberher) and uncover the truth behind his mysterious powers. It literally starts with running from local law enforcement and religious extremists which escalates to a nationwide manhunt.
The movie, which is influences by films like E.T, Starman and Close Encounters is looking pretty good so far, with the trailer showing off some footage of the kid’s powers.
