We’ve gotten word that there is going to be a RWBY manga adaptation and its going to be a sequel! The manga is by Shirow Miwa of Dogs fame, and it will be focusing on the four girls as they just join Beacon Academy.
The original story will be supervised by Rooster Teeth, the creators of RWBY, will reveal “the mystery hidden in four trailers”. The RWBY web series basically follows four girls
The original web series follows four girls with unique weapons and powers who are training to hunt supernatural “Creatures of Grimm.”

The series itself will debut in the December issue of Shueisha’s Ultra Jump magazine on 19 November, with the first chapter including back and center colour pages. The series is part of the magazine’s 20th anniversary project.
The magazine will also come with a mini clear file with art from the new manga too.
To top it off, RWBY will be screening in Japan in six theaters starting 14 November alongside a “theater limited-edition Blu-ray” which will go on sale the same day.

Its great to see the series continuing on after the original creator Monty Oum passed away earlier this year due to medical complications. So if you’re a big fan of RWBY, you might want to pick this one up.
