Acer has finally unveiled their much anticipated Predator gaming series of devices in Malaysia, with a grand total of eight devices to show off. Some of them you might find familiar as they were showcased in Berlin during IFA this year.

Acer has also partnered up with Microsoft to bring Windows 10 to the Predator series which runs smoothly on the latest intel tech. Not only that, the Predator devices will also be sporting features like DirectX12 ,Game DVR  as well as the 6th gen of Intel’s Core i processors.

For starters we have the Acer Predator 15 and 17, both clad in red and black with geometric lines so they look as sharp as they play. These high performance laptops run on the latest Intel Core processors coupled with NVIDIA GeForce Graphics and a ton of RAM. The laptops are also utilising the Predator FrostCore cooling features that is enabled by a swappable Cooler Master fan module which is exclusive to these laptops. For those really into high-speed games over LAN there is the Killer DoubleShot feature that lets wireless networking and Ethernet to work together to get you lowest pingtime possible. How’s that for a portable gaming rig?

The Predator 15 and 17 are priced at RM 6,999 onwards.

Next we have the Acer Predator 8, which was launched recently at IFA 2015 that is a dedicated gaming tablet with a rugged aluminium skin. Its powered by an Intel Atom processor as well as supporting the Predator Quadio, which is an array of four front facing speakers for enhanced virtual surround sound. On top of that, the tablet features Predator TacSense that gives you tactile feedback as you play.

The Predator 8 retails for RM 1,499.

For the not-so-mobile gaming warrior, there’s the Acer Predator G6 and G3 desktop units. Also powered by top spec Intel and NVIDIA tech, they also have Acer’s IceTunner thermal system which effectively disperses heat from the system. The Predator G6 also has “One-Punch Overclocking” that lets you overclock the machine to its full potential in just a button press. To top it off, you also get SoundBlaster X-Fi MB5 functionality on the G6 which gives you full control over the device’s audio.

The Acer Predator G6 is priced at RM 8,999 while the G3 will be available in January next year.

Next up we have the Acer Predator Z35, X34 and XB1 gaming monitors. They come in sizes of 27-inch to 35-inches with ultra-wide viewing angles and GameView technology which lets you instantly toggle between display profiles. The Predator Z35 is a curved display with a 21:9 display ratio and a curvature of 2000R with NVIDIA G-Sync for that immersive gaming experience.

The Predator XB1 comes in two flavours, in 27 inch and 28 inch respectively and have NVIDIA G-Sync under the hood as well. They may look the same but both are a bit different, with the XB271HU with a WQHD IPS palen with a 2560 x 1440 native res, while the XB281HK comes with a 4K UHD panel instead.

Last but not least, the Predator X34 is an 34-inch IPS curved display with a 21:9 aspect ratio. It also supports overclocking up to 100Hz for sharp moving pictures.

The monitors start at RM 2,599 and up.
