The 2016 Assassin’s Creed film is absolute garbage. Some of ya’ll may have liked it and that’s totally understandable, but the fact remains that it flopped big time, not only amongst critics but at the global box office as well, grossing merely over 240 Mil USD with a 125 Mil USD budget.
But surely we can’t just stop there? After all, video game fans will tell you that it’s one of the best games ever made. Well, it looks like Ubisoft has been working hard on an Assassin’s Creed TV series for a while now and they’ve finally chosen a showrunner. ADI SHANKAR!
Adi Shankar is the man who produced the extremely popular Power Rangers short film that broke the internet a couple of years ago. He’s also the showrunner for Netflix’s Castlevania that is set to come out on 7 July, later this week.
