Once again taking place at Sunway Pyramid Convention Center, AniManGaki is back for their seventh year running! The convention will be taking place on the 29 to 30 August 2015 (Merdeka weekend) with this year’s theme being Sports, and visitors are more than encouraged to take part in the fun in line with the theme.
Like the years before it, the convention will be home to tons of themed activities, doujin and vendor booths as well as stage performances, competitions and cosplay to your hearts delight.
Of course there will be a group cosplay competition with sports as the theme, with up to RM 4,000 worth of cash and prizes to be won. As a bonus, the winner of this year’s competition will be automatically qualified for the Comic Fiesta 2015 Cosplay Invitational. Other activities include this year’s AMG Idol competition, band performances as well as the AMG Photography and art competition plus a slew of game tournaments of the likes of Hearthstone and Infinite Carnage SALT.
There will also be a guest appearance and performance by Zwei, a rock back from Japan who are behind the music themes for Steins;Gate Senkei Kousoku no Phenogram and ROBOTICS;NOTES , with much more under their belts.

Last but not least, visitors can take part in the Touhou Matsuri again this year, which is jam packed with activities any Touhou fan shouldn’t miss.
