What could be the biggest anime event this side of town is coming to Sunway Pyramid this weekend!
AnimeXover will be running on 8-9 April 2017 at Sunway Pyramid Convention Center from 10am-6pm on both days, with an RM20 entrance fee per person. Also, you can get RM5 off your entrance fee if you buy any OISHI beverage, as the brand is the official beverage of the event.
The theme this time is “East meets West” so we’ll be expecting geeks and otakus of all kinds to join in on the fun. Here’s just some of the activities taking place this weekend:
First we have the Ani Song Concert featuring angela, EMPURA KIDZ, RAM RIDER and Anna Yano, followed by eSports competitions for those who want to show off their skills at Dota 2 and CS:GO! You might just in RM3,000 if you win, so sign up!
There’s also a Cosplay Competition, where winners will get the chance to bag a RM2,000 grand prize!
Last but not least there will be a figure expo, with over 30 toy booths for you to check out, featuring models and figures from both east and west for you to feast your eyes on.
