Apple’s new ultraportable MacBook is thinner than ever before, even more so than the original MacBook, Apple’s new 12-inch laptop is just 13.1 mm thick to make it the ultimate ultra-portable device. It’s been over four years since the last MacBook was debut by Steve Jobs himself, and the new machine is a good bit thinner than the last MacBook Air.
The new MacBook features a bezel-less case with a beautiful 2304 x 1440 pixel screen, an Intel Core M processor that runs on only five watts, making this also the first ever fanless MacBook out there. It will also come with a 256GB SSD and 8GB of RAM, with second configuration featuring a 12-inch Retina display, 1.2GHz Intel Core M, Intel HD Graphics 5300, 8GB memory, and 512GB of flash storage
It also features a full sized keyboard and has up to 10 hours of battery life with a custom shaped battery, on top of a fully backlit keyboard and a brand new pressure-sensitive Force Touch trackpad that allows you to take actions based on the pressure of your click. Using Force Touch you can browse Safari, control your videos or preview images in Viewfinder based on the length and pressure of your press.
The best part; all of this in a fantastically thin build that weighs in at less than 1 kg.
The new Apple MacBook will retail starting at $1299 (RM 4780) with the second configuration starting at $1599 (RM 5884) and will ship out on April 10th.
