Aquaman has had its release date pushed back a couple of months, setting the show to open in December as opposed to its original October release date.
Originally, Aquaman was supposed to release 5 October 2018 but instead, it’s been given a two-month push to 21 December, 2018. It wasn’t stated why they decided to push it back, but if anything, it’s likely due to production reasons.
But don’t fret, Momoa will be making his appearance as Aquaman in Justice League later this year, so it doesn’t make the extra wait all that painful.
Jason Momoa stars as Aquaman, the reluctant ruler of Atlantis who is caught between the polluting land dwellers and his own people who are ready to invade the surface. Amber Heard plays as Queen Mera and William Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, with the film’s directing by James Wan.
