Bananya

Stationary maker Q-Lia announced that they are going to run a crowdfunding campaign to make an anime for their Bananya banana cat mascot.

They haven’t announced when they will be running the campaign for the anime but they’ve already shown off the characters of the anime. Campaign backers will also get special Bananya-themed loot with the likenesses of the banana cats:

Namely, mugs, thank you messages, charms, postcards, tin badges, body pillows, photo clocks, blankets, hand and bath towels, the backer’s name in the credits, and the backer’s name in an episode end card.bananya02

Q-Lia launched the mascots last year; with another one of their mascots Shizuku-chan, having received three anime adaptations in the past,  including Pururun! Shizuku-chan in 2006, Pururun! Shizuku-chan Aha in 2007, and Picchipichi Shizuku-chan in 2012.

So would you like to see an anime based on the Bananya? let us know in the comments.
