Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced the release of SD Gundam G Generation Genesis, the latest title in their SD Gundam G Generation series of games. The game is being developed for the PS3, PS4 and the PSVita with a 2016 slated release.
SD Gundam G Generation basically is like a crossover series of sorts from the Gundam franchise, with multiple mobile suits from different storylines available for the player to use. Also, all the suits are presented in SD form, which is the norm for this series.
The last game that was released for this series was SD Gundam G Generation Frontier for mobile circa 2013.
So far, the game features quite a few of the major Gundam mobile suits from the Universal Century timeline. These include:
RX-78-2Gundam (first Gundam anime)
RX-79[G] Gundam Ground Type (Gundam: The 08th MS Team)
RX-78NT-1 Gundam Alex (Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket)
RX-78GP01 and RX-78GP02 (Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory)
MSZ-006 Z Gundam (Zeta Gundam)
MSZ-010 ZZ Gundam(Gundam Double Zeta)
RX-93 Nu Gundam (Gundam: Char’s Counterattack)
RX-0 UnicornGundam (Gundam Unicorn).
SD Gundam G Generation Genesis will be released in 2016, but they haven’t dropped a solid release date yet. Till then, check out this awesome trailer!
