Bandai Namco has revealed the character rundown for their next Project X Zone game at the New York Comic Con in a full blown 12 minute video.
Very similar in essence to the first game, Project X Zone 2 mashes together characters from Bandai Namco, Sega and Capcom franchises with some extras from Nintendo. The game itself is being produced by Monolith Software Inc.
Makes us wonder a bit how much money was involved in getting so many companies to glue their IPs together, but hey we can’t complain.
In a nutshell, the trailer shows off the game’s systems as well as characters from Tekken, Tales of Vesperia, Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, Megaman X, .hack//, Sakura Wars, Yakuza: Dead Souls, Virtua Fighter, Fire Emblem and the Phoenix Wright series. Bandai Namco claims there’s apparently plenty more to come for the cross-platform strategy game.
marina will also perform “Sekai wa Hitotsu no Budai” (“All the World’s a Stage”) which was also used for the trailer, and the ending theme “Tsuki Akari no Curtain Call.” for Project X Zone 2.
Project X Zone 2 is expected to ship on 12 November in Japan while the American release will hit 16 February and 19 February in Europe for the Nintendo 3DS. Check out the new video below!
