The peeps over at Blizzard and Facebook want to make it easier for friends (and streamers) to connect and share on Facebook, integrating features such as Facebook Login and Live API for ease of access.
Now people owning Blizzard’s PC games like World of Warcraft, Heroes of the Storm, Hearthstone and Overwatch (just to name a few) will be able to sign up and log in to games using their Facebook accounts.
Logging in using your Facebook account will then allow you to share, view and discuss content on the platform, with Facebook working to incorporate their Live API so you can “Go Live” with your gameplay. Yes, you’ll soon be able to livestream Blizzard gaming sessions straight to Facebook using their Live feature.
It probably won’t be taking over Twitch or YouTube anytime soon but having the option to see gaming livestreams on Facebook sounds pretty convenient.
