Amidst the preparation to launch Tomorrowland for the cinemas, Brad Bird’s next choice of movie might be The Incredibles sequel, the 2004 Pixar superhero movie.
During an interview with ColliderVideos, he responded to the question with : “Yeah, it feels like it to me, yeah.”
Last year, Disney’s CEO Bob Iger talks about possibility of Incredible’s sequel and the director himself told NPR earlier this year that he is already started to write on it. When he was asked about the progress of the writing, he casually mentions that few pages already written so far and he has a lot of ideas.
“I had a lot of ideas for the original Incredibles that I didn’t get a chance to use, ideas that I like. I have things that I wanted to pursue a little bit, and there wasn’t enough time in Incredibles. There are new ideas I have. And I think I have enough of those together to make an interesting movie.” he said in the interview.
Few days ago, Brad Bird tweeted an assurance to head off any story rumours of the sequel.
“Reports” have been saying a LOT of nonsense about the plot of Incredibles 2. Just relax. I’ve got this. https://t.co/3KFAJqaoS7
