If you’re a fan of classic SEGA video games like Sonic the Hedgehog and Comix Zone, then you’re in for a treat as SEGA is bringing those games and more to mobile.

As reported by Tech Crunch, classic SEGA games will be coming to mobile in a new free-to-play format. It will also support offline play and incorporate other important features like cloud saves. Unfortunately, the free-to-play format will come with a bunch of advertisements. However, you can purchase the ad-free version for 1.99 USD.

The SEGA Forever collection already has five popular games you can get at the launch (available on the Google Play Store and the App Store for iOS devices).

  1. Sonic the Hedgehog
  2. Phantasy Star II
  3. Comix Zone
  4. Kid Chameleon
  5. Altered Beast

But before you scratch your head wondering, “Huh? Five games only??” don’t worry because SEGA will be dropping a new game every two weeks.
