The new trailer for Arslan Senki is up for viewing as well as more info about the cast and production staff, with the exact release date of the anime being 5 April 2015. The listed castings are Kobayashi Yuusuke (Witch Craft Works) as Arslan, Hosoya Yoshimasa (Free!) as Daryun, Namikawa Daisuke (Hunter x Hunter) as Narsus and Hanae Natsuki (Tokyo Ghoul) as Elam. You can check out their anime character designs at the official site.
Confirmed staff for this highly anticipated series are Abe Noriyuki (Bleach, YuYu Hakusho) as the director, Uezu Makoto (Akame ga Kill!, Yuki Yuna wa Yuusha de aru) as the series composition and music by Iwashiro Taro who also did the music score for Chinese war epic Red Cliff and chambara ninja fantasy Azumi. Animating studios are LIDEN FILMS and SANZIGEN Animation Studio. These two worked together before on Black Rock Shooter.
At a glance, the staff behind the series seems to have a lot of experience in the industry and the director himself is famous for making shonen series shine despite limited budget in production. This also might point to a long, long series that might exceed two cours (26 episodes) given the story length and the people working on it.
