If you’ve ever wanted to listen to your favourite anime classics performed by an orchestra, here’s your chance with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra. More details after the jump.
Some of the music you’ll get to enjoy during the concert are from composer Joe Hisaishi, composer of hundreds of film scores including Ghibli classics like Spirit Away and My Neighbor Totoro. Hisaishi has also produced a multitude of orchestral works for Japanese TV in classical Japanese, Western Classical, minimalist and electronic styles.
The concert will be conducted by Naohisa Furusawa.
