The full length trailer of Halo: Nightfall, the live action series exclusive for Xbox from executive producer Ridley Scott, is finally out. Back in July, a teaser was released but now Halo fans can get finally get a longer glimpse on what to expect from the live action series.
The highly anticipated Halo: Nightfall is an upcoming digital feature that has some pretty big names involved, chief among them being Gladiator director Ridley Scott. He isn’t the only one though. The digital series script was written by Prison Break creator Paul Scheuring and it’s being directed by Sergio Mimica-Gezzan who has credits for Battlestar Galactica and Heroes. Halo: Nightfall will have five episodes that will be released on a weekly basis and will connect the stories between Halo 4 and Halo 5: Guardians with some additional hints to Halo: The Television Series.
The plot of Halo: Nightfall revolves around special agent Jameson Locke, played by Mike Colter (The Good Wife), and his mission is to investigate a mysterious bio-weapon that targets humans. And in case you’re wondering, Agent Locke is a playable character in Halo 5: Guardians that is scheduled for release late next year.
The first episode of Halo: Nightfall will premiere on November 10 as part of official HaloFest livestream.
It will also be included in the Halo: The Master Chief Collection for Xbox One which is scheduled for a November 11 release.

1. Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary (the remastered version of 2011)
2. Halo 2 Anniversary (remastered)
3. Halo 3 (with 1080p & 60 frames per second)
4. Halo 4 (same as above)
5. Access to Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer beta
