The second trailer for the live-action adaptation of Chika Umino’s March comes in like a lion (Sangatsu no Lion) has been released. Check it out!
The second film is set to open 22 April in Japan, with the first opening 18 March, ranking #7 at the Japanese box office.
As far as the story goes, it follows a solitary shōgi named Rei and his relationships with a neighboring family. The friendless pro player starts warming up to Akari and two young girls Hinata and Momo who also happen to have a lot of cats. Not exactly Neko Atsume, but it is based on the manga of the same name.
The original series started in 2007, with it’s 12 compiled volume released 29 September.
