The Cicret Bracelet, a crowdfunding project announced in November last year is designed to basically be a tablet, but on your skin.
The wearable would basically have all the functions of a tablet or a smartphone in the form of a easy to wear bracelet that’s capable of projecting with a low-angle, controllable with just your finger and able to work on any skin colour with disregard to the lighting conditions. Play games, read mail, navigate or even check the weather, all on your arm.
It seems a bit too good to be true for the cyberpunk buffs but rest assured, the future is coming. They even have a functional first prototype already built, but they need contributions to take it even further.
The project is still accepting donations and they are fully intending on producing it for the mass market with a rough release date of either late 2015 or early 2016, with an estimated retail price of $199-399.
