The late David Bowie classic Labyrinth was originally reported to be getting a reboot, but now it looks like the movie is going to be something totally different.
The news initially came about from the Hollywood Reporter that the classic movie was getting rebooted by Nicole Perlman, co-writer for Guardians of the Galaxy.
The timing however, is quite unfortunate due to the recent passing of the original Goblin King, David Bowie. While it does look like the project is only moving forward due to this, Perlman has confirmed that its not going to be a remake OR a reboot, so it could either be a sequel or something completely different.
No word yet if any of the original stars of the first film are getting involved though. If we happen to hear anything new regarding the movie, you’ll be hearing from us!
