The updated branding for DC Entertainment’s comics line marks its newest logo in 4 years.

The company revealed its new comics line logo today and announced that it would launch the new logo alongside the first issue of DC Comics: Rebirth.

Rebirth is DC Comic’s attempt to unite their storylines into a frame that feels “epic” and “cohesive” – appropriate for a relaunch of their logo.

The old DC comics logo, which played before such films as Christopher Nolan’s iconic Dark Knight, has been in place since 2012.
