DC Entertainment has dropped the first image from their animated Justice League vs Teen Titans movie as well as the voice cast! Check them out here.

Justice League vs Teen Titans apparently isn’t going to be based on any currently existing story arc in the comics but seems to center on Robin and Raven:

[The story]“sends Robin to work with the Titans after his volatile behavior botches a Justice League mission. The young team then must really step up to face Trigon after he possesses the League and threatens to conquer the world.”

The script for the film comes from Alan Burnett and Bryan Q. Miller, who have worked on series that include Smallville and Defiance. The movie is set to be released this spring on Blu-ray and DVD.

The movie is currently being developed by producer James Tucker and directed by Sam Liu alongside a solid cast of voice actors to bring the movie to life.

Jon Bernthal (The Walking Dead, Daredevil) plays Trigon, a ruthless demon who shares a long history with the Teen Titans both in the original animated series and comic books. Then there’s Taissa Farmiga (American Horror Story), who plays Raven, Trigon’s daughter.

The rest of the cast includes Jake T. Austin (The Fosters) as Blue Beetle, Brandon Soo Hoo (From Dusk Til Dawn: The Series) as Beast Boy, and Kari Wahlgren (Phineas and Ferb) as Starfire.

The voice cast also includes voice acting veterans like Shemar Moore as Cyborg, Stuart Allan as Robin and Sean Maher as Nightwing. Also making a comeback for the animated feature is Jason O’Mara as Batman, Jerry O’Connell as Superman, Rosario Dawson as Wonder Woman and Christopher Gorham as the Flash.
