SILVER LINK has been confirmed to be creating the anime adaptation of Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody.
This was previously teased in December 2016, and now it’s finally official. The TV anime, based off the light novel series of the same name, will be directed by Shin Oonuma. They also released two visuals, as well as their official website and Twitter feed, @deathma_anime.
The original light novels were written by Hiro Ainana and illustrated by shri and published under Fujimi Shobo Novels imprint.
As the story goes, it follows Satou, a computer programmer who gets whisked to a fantasy world where he accidentally acquires extreme magical power. He then decides to enjoy the good life in this new world, traveling, sightseeing and of course, helping pretty girls out of their predicaments.
No word on a solid release date yet, but it shouldn’t be incredibly far off.
