Sega has just released the first trailer of a series introducing the character roster from Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax /電撃文庫 FIGHTING CLIMAX (Dengeki Bunko Faitingu Kuraimakkusu).

Originally made in Japan to celebrate the 20th anniversary of ASCII Media Works Dengeki Bunko imprint, game developer Ecole Software and French Bread managed to make it a cult hit. The game features a crossover showdown between famous characters in anime such as Shana (Shakugan no Shana), Yuki Asuna (Sword Art Online), Mikoto Misaka (A Certain Magical Index/A Certain Scientific Railgun) and more.

So far, there are 14 playable characters with 23 assist characters. All of them are from light novel series published under Dengeki Bunko imprint, most of them are voiced by their respective voice actors from the anime series. Here, we can see Asuna (Sword Art Online), Kuroyukihime (Accel World), Shizou Heiwajima (Durarara!!) and Tomoka Minato (Ro-Kyu-Bi!) strutting their stuff in the video. For the complete listing of the characters, head over here to have a look.

The game was released for arcades on 18 March 2014, quickly ported over to PS3 and PS Vita on 13 November 2014. Now, Sega wants to expand this title to overseas market on 6 October 2015 (PS3 and Vita).

Time to settle the argument on which anime character is the strongest soon.
