Troyca ( Aldnoah Zero) is releasing more details about Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa Shitai ga Umatteiru (A Corpse is Buried Under Sakurako’s Feet) or 櫻子さんの足下には死体が埋まっている.
Set for an October 2015 release, the series is based on the famous mystery novel series written by Shiori Ota and illustrated by Tetsuo. It is already running into seven volumes by Kodakawa Shoten under Kadokawa Bunko label since 2013 with the eighth volume is on the way (25 September 2015). Besides the novels, three voice dramas based on the series have been made too.
The popularity is hugely evident from 600,000 copies already printed thus far. The story seems to be inspired by a live action American TV series Bones – about a mid 20s woman named Sakurako Kujo who belongs to a prestigious family but has a deep fascination with bones. She forms a partnership with a high school student Shotaro Tatewaki to solve various crime cases via their understanding of bones.

Directed by Makoto Kato (Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha) and series composition by Takayo Ikami (Detective Opera Milky Holmes, Yurikuma Arashi) while illustrator Tetsuo will be onboard as the character designer. TRUE (Hibike! Euphonium) will be singing the OP song and ED piece is provided by three member techno pop group Technoboys Pulcraft Green-Fund (Witchcraft Work, Trinity Seven).
