The Pokemon Company has announced that they are coming out with a brand new Pokemon spinoff for the 3DS, but its something a lot different from their “catch them all” formula. This time, you get to play a Detective Pikachu.
Meitantei Pikachu ~Shin Combi Tanjo~ or Famous Detective Pikachu: The Debut of a New Duo features well, a talking Pikachu detective with a voice like Toru Ohkawa’s.
The game is set in Lime City, where people and Pokemon coexist. Tim Goodman (one of the main characters) bumps into Pikachu by chance here and their adventure begins.

Famous Detective Pikachu: The Debut of a New Duo is set to be available 3 February 2016. For those who order the download between today and 29 February will get the game for a discounted price of 1,200 yen (about RM 43) where after the period the game will go for 1,500 yen (about RM 54).
